That is one of the questions that bothers the open-minded people, including me. There is quite a difference between being open-minded about something you want to receive additional information, and being na?ve. The latter do not try to study the phenomena, but rather blindly trust in it.
Bulgaria is one of those countries, where we have a lot of the so-called clairvoyants, imams, healers, magicians and whatnots, you can usually encounter in a fantasy movie. And as you can imagine in the most part they are just frauds.
Still, there are some, who has proven their abilities so many times to so many people that you cannot totally deny the existence of people that receive information in a way which modern science deems impossible. The Prophet Vanga is one such example and if you are interested, I recommend you to do a research on her biography.
A book I recently read from Ivayla Ivanova – “Bulgarian phenomena”, tells the stories of encounters with such people as Vanga – true clairvoyants with abilities that most people would never believe they can exist. The book is published by New Media Group and Svetlio Kantardjiev – for now it has only a Bulgarian edition, but I guess it might soon be translated in English also.
There are several testimonies in the book about clairvoyants that went through a test of their biofield and only those who passed it were included in the book. As the author said, most of the actual skilled people do not advertise themselves, are not famous and it is difficult to even know about them. It’s my opinion also, that if you truly can do these magical things, you shouldn’t just do it for money like a “normal service”, but rather it should be something transcending the current financial system.
What do you think about clairvoyants and have you ever encountered a real one?
